Dave Gerber is an ordained elder and registered evangelist in the Church of the Nazarene. Oxford, Michigan is where Dave and Ruth call home. They were married on July 9,1983. They have one daughter, Lindsay.
He was a Chief Warrant Officer and flew helicopters for the Army National Guard.
Dave is a 4th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He has worked with Jason Hanson, Luther Ellis, and Jeff Hartings to name a few, as a special trainer for the Detroit Lions. Dave serves as a chaplain for the Oxford Police Department. Dave is also a frequent contributor to The Citizen newspaper in Ortonville, Michigan
He is a graduate of Nazarene Bible College (’98) and Northwest Nazarene University (’08 MA Spiritual Formation). He is also a certified Spiritual Director.
When he isn’t speaking or offering spiritual direction or preaching, and the weather is right, you can expect him to be riding his motorcycle.
